The job
Given the international character of our industry and the high financial volumes, the Treasury department has a broad range of responsibilities and activities. You will join a small, Rotterdam-based Treasury team and work closely with banks and internal stakeholders across the group.
In your first years as a Treasury Analyst, you will help run and improve our day-to-day Treasury operations (cash, funding, FX etc.) and contribute to reporting and automation. This Analyst role offers strong development potential to become an all-round Treasury specialist, which is required given the small size of the Treasury team. After that, your main responsibility will be managing the entire FX execution while still being involved in all other Treasury related matters. Your responsibilities are:
Assisting with FX management and execution in line with policy guidelines; supporting reporting on exposures and hedging.
Preparing daily cash positions and supporting group-wide liquidity reporting.
Supporting cash flow forecasting and improving forecast accuracy analysis.
Managing and optimizing the bank account structure (openings/closings, KYC requirements, MT940).
Supporting funding activities (e.g., working capital facilities, liquidity planning, intercompany loans) and related documentation/reporting.
Preparing periodic and ad-hoc Treasury reports and dashboards (Excel / Power BI) and contributing to further automation and process improvements.
Liaising with banks and supporting subsidiaries on Treasury-related matters.
Who are you
To be successful within Cefetra, it is important to have a 'self-starter' mentality, to be open-minded, accurate and curious. You should be able to work both independently and with people from all levels within the Cefetra Group. You should also be able to identify with the following requirements:
You hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree in finance, Business, Economics or another relevant field of study.
You bring a few years of Treasury experience (corporate Treasury or banking) and you’re eager to become an all-round Treasury/FX specialist.
You’re analytically sharp, numerically strong, and accurate by nature.
Your English is fluent (spoken and written). Dutch is a plus.
You’re strong in Excel and comfortable with Power BI (or keen to level up fast).
You are hands-on, pragmatic, and proactive, with a nonsense mindset.
