HR Intern

Are you looking for a challenging internship where you can grow and develop your HR skills? At the Rotterdam Office of Cefetra, we have an internship available from September up to December 2025 or January 2026 for an inquisitive and entrepreneurial HR student!

Who we are
The Cefetra Group consists of various agricultural and food ingredients trading and supply chain management companies, with leading brands within the ingredients business. Collectively we employ over 700 people across 35 offices in 20 countries around the world. We work closely together to guarantee the best possible service to our customers. We develop supply chains with suppliers and create value by sourcing raw materials and supplying those to the international food and feed industry.

The assignment
As an HR intern, you will have the opportunity to be involved in a wide range of HR processes, such as talent acquisition, which includes organizing student events both internally and externally. You will also work on onboarding by updating the onboarding tool and setting up induction sessions for new colleagues and interns. Besides that, you will have 100 days reviews with the new colleagues. You will also work on learning and development by updating the training administration. You will also be responsible for monitoring the HR mailbox. You will have plenty of opportunities to get involved and contribute to improving various HR processes, such as setting up our HR portal, updating our job profiles and relaunching our SharePoint.

Who are you?
Most importantly, you can be critical and accurate, but also pragmatic when needed. To be successful within Cefetra, it is important that you have a 'self-starter' mentality, are open-minded, curious and entrepreneurial.
In addition, you can identify with the following requirements:

  • Your currently student HRM (HBO/WO)

  • You are passionate about working in HR and would like to gain practical experience

  • You have an entrepreneurial mindset and are curious to learn new skills

  • You can relate to our values ambition, reliability and collaboration

  • You know your way around Excel, PowerPoint, Teams and SharePoint

  • And you have excellent communication skills in both Dutch and English
