Business Development Internship

Who we are
Cefetra Group comprises several trading companies in the agricultural sector and the food ingredients industry, with leading brands in the ingredients market. Together, we employ approximately 800 people across 39 offices in 17 countries worldwide. We work closely together to provide our customers with the best possible service. Together with our suppliers, we develop strong supply chains and create value by sourcing raw materials and supplying them to the international food, animal feed and energy industries. The assignment
As intern you will work together with a.o. Stefan Vuurens. Your assignment will be to develop a strategic advice to top management on a new business product/market/service idea. This includes:

• Market analysis quantitative (data collection) & qualitative (interviews);

• Data & financial modelling;

• Competitive & customer landscape;

• Market trends;

• Understanding the roles of value chain parties;

• Presenting strategic/investment advice on way forward on topic;

• Mutually agree on business topic. Feel free to bring your own ideas, otherwise we will suggest various.

Job requirements
Are you a Master student from a business, economics, finance, data analytics, technical, logistics or food & agri university? Are you looking to learn how to build a proposal in an international business environment? Do you want to develop your skillset in: project management, market research, business & economic modelling, storyline telling, stakeholder management. Are you excited about the above mentioned. Our offer

• Valuable hands-on experience in the field of the agro-commodity and ingredinets trading industry;

• Exposure to a dynamic and international work environment;

• An internship allowance of 525 euro a month (employment basis student or short-term contract);

• A six-month internship starting in April or February 2026.
