The job
As a Trade Support Officer you will play a vital role in supporting our trading operations. This varied role involves a wide range of tasks where you'll work closely with our traders, execution desk, forex team, controllers, clients and suppliers. You will report directly to Arjon Kooijman (Trade Support Coordinator). This position will give you the opportunity to learn and develop in the commodity trading.
Your responsibilities are:
- Processing the various trades of the traders concluded by the traders in Cefetra’s ERP system, Cindex
- Making purchase & sales contracts
- Updating trade positions / ICT programs
- Covering currency
- Checking the different positions
- Controlling the daily businesses/trades
- Managing positions/stocks management
- Executing future orders (buying and selling futures)
- Exchanging futures with various suppliers/customers
Who you are
Most importantly, you can be critical and precise, but also pragmatic when necessary. To be successful at Cefetra, it is important that you have a 'self-starter' mentality, are open-minded, curious and entrepreneurial. In addition, you can identify with the following requirements:
- your educational background is preferably in economics, business administration or commerce
- You want to work in agricultural commodities trading and have a passion for financial markets.
- You will have an excellent command of the English/Dutch language (both written and spoken);
