The job
As System Administration Manager, you'll be responsible for the Cefetra Group's IT infrastructure, together with a team of three system administrators. Two are based in the Rotterdam office and one in Glasgow. Your role will include overseeing the team's activities and setting priorities. Together with your team, you will manage and maintain the Cefetra Group's IT infrastructure, covering both software and hardware aspects. Our hardware infrastructure is Cisco-based, so you will need a solid understanding of Cisco networks. You will also need a good knowledge of MS Office 365, Citrix, VMware and Azure to effectively manage our software infrastructure. Together with the team, you will support 715 users worldwide and ensure the smooth rollout of software updates. You will also play a leading role in IT projects, such as the implementation of VoIP. You will also manage relationships with IT suppliers and provide technical support for our studio where we broadcast client Q&A sessions and executive updates.
Who you are
Most importantly, you can be critical and precise, but also pragmatic when necessary. To be successful at Cefetra, it is important that you have a 'self-starter' mentality, are open-minded, curious and entrepreneurial. In addition, you can identify with the following requirements:
- You have experience as a System Administrator and in managing a small team;
- You are good in managing expectations and internal relations;
- You are fluent in both English as well as Dutch, both verbally and in writing;
- You know all the secrets of MS Office 365, Citrix and Azure;
- You have a good understating of network infrastructures and security solutions
